Hannah & Alex – Sunday 21st July 2013
Today was the wedding of Hannah & Alex, in the leafy village of Tong, near Bradford.
We arrived for bridal prep, to find a very calm bride and a bevy of bridesmaids busy in their final stages of hair & makeup. Roles were slightly reversed today…Hannah our lovely bride was the one helping the maids get dressed! Purple was the colour theme for today and was beautifully used from the bridesmaid dresses right through to the mini Chocolate bar favours on the tables.
The ceremony and wedding breakfast were both held at the hotel, so with lots of time planned for photography we left the guests drinking the fizz whilst we headed away for a little Bride and Groom time. The weather was fine and with no rain scheduled till later that evening we made full use of the gardens and neighboring farmland – climbing over walls and locked gates had been on the agenda, but a random visit from the stable owner meant we were able to gain entry on a more regular basis!
Soon it was time for the guests to be seated for dinner; the room looked stunning, a beautiful colour scheme of purple and white set the scene for a lovely meal, entertaining speeches and the cutting of the cake. The first dance was soon underway and now it was time to Party!!!
