Gemma & James – Coniston Hotel – Skipton
Today we were in the beautiful village of Esholt for the wedding of Gemma & James.
The tiny church of St Paul’s was full with guests, eagerly awaiting Gemma’s arrival. Wellington Boots filled with flowers sat each side of the gate… a little hint of the theme for the day! Maybe we would need these later as the weather was to say the least, Wet!
Gemma & James were soon walking back down the aisle as husband and wife; happy in their new status as ‘Mr. & Mrs.’, but also knowing that they had a secret; A secret that had now been parked outside the church! Oh yes the brand spanking, the big, the beautiful and very blue TRACTOR! (James and his best man (James) had already driven to the pub in the tractor, where they had planned to hide it until after the ceremony… how do you hide a 3 ton tractor?)
Coniston Hotel Weddings:
As we arrived at the Coniston Hotel the weather was a little dull and overcast and was just holding out, so we headed down to the lake along with the Tractor and wellie’s for their personal photography time.
A lovely meal and some fantastic speeches rounded off the afternoon celebrations. A live band was soon setting up ready to rock the night away…
We would like to thank all the staff at The Coniston Hotel for making Gemma & James’s big day perfect and for looking after us so well.
