The Wedding…
Gemma & Matt were married at the Holy Trinity Church in the village of South Crosland. Their wedding breakfast was held in the Marquee at the Casa Hotel, Brighouse.
Gemma and her seven bridesmaids were well under way with bridal prep when we arrived. The house was a hive of activity but everything was organised and relaxed. The makeup lady was just applying the final touches to the maids and then it was Gemma’s turn to take the hot seat.
The wedding cars were now arriving and it was time for the bridesmaids to head to church. Brollies were at the ready, but fortunately weren’t needed as the awful rain form the previous 2 days had past.
After a lovely ceremony, the guests left for Casa, and we headed with our happy couple to Beaumont Park for their personal photography time. With many architectural features and a peaceful atmosphere this beautiful park is a great place to capture many stunning shots and for Gemma & Matt to have just a little a small amount of quiet time together.
All too soon it was time to head back to the cars and travel the short journey to Casa. Gemma & Matt had plenty of time to catch up with their guests as family photography was planned for after the wedding breakfast. It was now time for guests to take their seats, champagne was served and it was time for speeches… these boys were good, and were very “entertaining”.
The band was ready and it was time for Gemma & Matt’s first dance together… but they had a little lady who had other ideas…
