The Wedding…
We arrived at Colin and Justyna home on a rather wet and dismal morning. The weather had taken a turn for the worse, but as always with the good old British summertime we had come prepared.
Inside the girls were in full swing, with different areas of the room for different parts of the prep, Justyna had everything under control… so with all the detail shots taken it was time for Justyna to be getting into her stunning wedding dress, but she wasn’t quite ready… thankfully the church was only a few hundred yards down the road so we had time for a cheeky coffee whilst the girls finished their last minute checks… err who’s got the keys for the wedding car?

The vicar at today’s church only allowed photos from the back, so with a camera downstairs and one in the gallery above we were still able to get some lovely shots.
The rain clouds were gathering overhead, so we made haste after the group photo, we jumped in the cars and headed for Woodhall Hotel, Wetherby, stopping as planned on the way for some requested shots. Timing was perfect, the rain bounced down the whole 30 minute journey, but as we arrived and stopped for photos on the brow of the long driveway the rain stopped… just long enough for a champagne popping photo with our happy couple.
Champagne and canapés were been enjoyed by the guests but when Justyna & Colin walked up the red carpet and into the huge hallway every one cheered and applauded their arrival, so with just enough time for some arty shots of our happy couple, and a chat with their guests it was soon time to sit down for dinner and the all important speeches.
We re-scheduled personal photography photos until after the wedding breakfast today. This is often the case with summer weddings, especially if it has been very hot or as in today’s weather very wet!
Justyna and Colin were much more relaxed after dinner, and were able to enjoy their personal photography time so much more. They could also steal away a few quite moments together to reflect on their wonderful day… and all caught on camera, brilliant!
