Nostell Priory Weddings

Regena & Marco – Nostell Priory – Saturday 4th August 2012

Set within the beautiful grounds of Nostell Priory, Regena & Marco were married at St Michael and Our Lady Church at Wragby today. Regena travelled with her father in a horse drawn carriage to church (so lovely to see people waving and tooting their horns along the route).

Wragby church was full to the brim with guests eagerly awaiting her arrival. Regena didn’t disappoint, looking absolutely radiant as she walked down the long aisle to meet her groom.

Today’s weather was for heavy rain and thunderstorms, but thankfully, we had completely the opposite, the mercury was going in the right direction for a change.

The signing of the register was completed outdoors in the sunshine. A large wicker basket was sitting on the lawn – a surprise for Regena & Marco, two white doves waiting to be released.

The happy couple made their way along the long sweeping driveway to Nostel Priory for the formal photography. Awaiting them in the Riding School was another surprise – The Crofton Silver Band.

While the guests were finishing desert, another surprise was getting ready to reveal their true identities – The Singing Waiters! By far the best reception entertainment we have seen in a long time, you could not help but sing along and soon the guests were off their chairs and dancing around the room!!

After all the excitement of the day we rounded it all off with a lovely stroll around the Nostell’s vast gardens, which were now completely empty of visitors – perfect.
