Nostell Priory Wedding Photography – Rachael & Richard – Saturday 4th May 2013

As we arrived at the Gamekeepers Cottage in Walton we caught a glimpse of today’s transport – two beautiful white horses and a very regal carriage. The weather had not been good, so the arrival of the sun was very welcome.

Rachael and her girls were all very calm and happily sipping on the bubbly when we arrived. Everything was on schedule and soon we were outside in the sunshine for Rachael to start her horse drawn journey to the beautiful Wragby Parish Church that sits in the grounds of Nostell Priory.

Well that’s what we thought as we drove away… Bring on the carriage, two horses, and a rather steep slippery incline… 30 minutes late the gorgeous Rachael arrived at Wragby Church with a tale to tell her groom!

After a lovely ceremony the happy couple took a carriage ride up to the ‘Big House’ as Nostell Priory is affectionately known. The sun was shining so with a bottle of champagne and glasses in hand, Richard and Rachael headed off to spend some quality time with us capturing their special time together.
After far too much time laughing and having fun it was time to head back across to the Riding School to begin the wedding breakfast. A fine meal was enjoyed by everyone, and the celebrations were rounded off with a full set of great speeches.

We would like to thank all the staff at Nostell Priory and ‘Dine’ for making this an amazing day and for looking after us as well as you always do.

Paula & Gary
