Emma & Mark – The Grange Hotel – Lake District – 22nd Sept 2012
The Grange Hotel. Situated on the southern fringe of the timelessly beautiful English Lake District, was the setting for Emma & Marks wedding today.
Early morning saw a chilly start to the day, too chilly for September as a rule, but as we arrived at the hotel, the sun had broken through the now fluffy white clouds and was warming up nicely.
Emma and her maids had a fabulous set of rooms for their bridal prep – four poster beds and full length floor to ceiling mirrors everywhere
Emma and Mark were married in a very moving ceremony where they had added their own special vows, in a beautiful sunlit room, surrounded by their family and friends.
As the weather was still warm and sunny, Emma & Mark were able to lead their guests outside on to the terrace for drinks and canapés.

With formal photos completed we took a stroll down to the village for pictures on the Victorian promenade, with its magnificent vista across the bay it was perfect for their personal photography time with us. Grange-over-Sands also has beautiful gardens, and a fab little train station, which still has many of its original features, so as we were graced with great weather we just had to spend a little time in all of them!
All too soon it was time to head back to The Grange. The guests were seated and eagerly awaiting the return of the bride and groom. A great meal was followed by touching and funny speeches, even Emma had a few words to say!
As the evening sun was setting across the bay, we took the ‘boys’ out onto the terrace for a few final shots together. It would be safe to say that they did indeed have some ‘Fun’ shots…
We would like to thank all the staff at The Grange for looking after us so well, and for making Emma & Mark’s big day so special.
